Monitoring Disable Input
Function
Turning ON (short-circuit) of Monitoring disable input disables SLP function, RSM function, and RPM function. This input is dual-lined and is controlled by an external device being connected.
This input temporarily disables SLP function, RSM function, and RPM function and is used to recover from the error state of these functions.
To use Monitoring disable input, the safety parameter [15 : Monitoring disable input setting] needs to be [1: Enabled].
Changing the parameter is available for WINCAPSIII only. If it is invalid, retrieve the project by using WINCAPSIII to change the parameter, and then save it. Send the saved project with RC8A Safety parameter tool to the controller, and then restart the controller.

Input Condition and Operation
Turning ON (short-circuit) of this input disables SLP function, RSM function, and RPM function.
- If the time difference between two Monitoring Disable inputs is 0.5 second or more, it is deemed as an abnormal state. An error is issued and the motor power will turn off.
- Use different contacts to control two Monitoring Disable inputs. If one Monitoring Disable input circuit is always short-circuited, or if two Monitoring Disable input circuits are joined in one circuit, it is deemed as an external circuit error, as a result, the robot cannot start operation.
